Family property for 4 generations, the Espigouette area is now run by Bernard LATOUR, his wife Marie France and their two sons Julien and Emilien. The estate’s vines are located in the municipalities of: GIGONDAS, VACQUEYRAS, RASTEAU, GOD’S PLAN and RAPES
At the Espigouette estate, the idea is that to make a great wine, you must have beautiful grapes, that is, grapes that are rich, concentrated and balanced. To do this, they respect their land and their environment by practicing a reasoned and ecological method of cultivation where they limit interventions as much as possible by doing a lot of observation in the vines and also thanks to the dry and windy climate (Mistral). They carefully work their vineyard (various plowing, disbudding, leaf stripping, green harvest, etc.) according to the climatic characteristics of the vintage and the different terroirs.
