Bernard Faurie is a meticulous, fifth generation grower, producing very fine Hermitage from his 1.7 hectares. His holdings are spread across three parcels of Hermitage. The wines are typically aged for 24 months in old demi-muid (600l oak barrels). All his vines are over 100 years old and so yields are tiny and demand is fierce. Very special wines.
Very sadly the 2020 was his last.
