HISTORY
In 1899, Alexis DAVAULT buys a part of the vineyard of the Prieuré de la Chaise whose origin goes back to the Xth century. His son Eugène in turn enlarged the vineyard and was followed by Maurice, Jean-Pierre, Christophe and Quentin.
Since 1980, 45 hectares of vines have been purchased or replanted, bringing the surface area of the “DOMAINE DE LA CHAISE” to 57 hectares of vines classified as A.O.C. TOURAINE.
The love of this vineyard and many investments made in the cellar allow us today to offer you our best wines! To accompany or to taste, they will surely seduce you!
