Presented in a striking blue bottle, this Arak is made in the Beqaa Valley from triple distilled Obeidi grapes. During the third distillation, green organic aniseed is added from the village of Hineh on the Syrian slopes of Mount Hermon. One year ageing in traditional clay amphorae and then the spirit is ready to be bottled. Serve over ice and it turns a milky white colour and is wonderfully pure. Very special indeed.
