Kerisac

A century-old cider maker!

Our cider house, located in the Isac Valley in Guenrouët, was founded by Edmond Guillet in 1920. Here, expertise is passed down from father to son.

First Edmond, then Edmond Jr., Maurice, André, Loïc, Bertrand and now Laurent: the future of our family business is assured! Over the course of a century, we have expanded our facilities and now employ 40 people who share a common goal: to give their best to produce the Breton cider that has made us famous!

From apple to cider!

Kermerrien, Marie Ménard, Douce Moën, Bisquet, Petit Jaune… these are just some of the robust apple varieties suited to Brittany’s soil, selected by our 38 producers and pressed at the cider house with the utmost respect for cider-making traditions.

These pressed apples produce juices which, after fermentation in vats, are carefully blended by our cellar master and his team. Cider is all about apples, but it also requires a great deal of skill!

From Brut cider to ice cider, not forgetting Poiré cider, for us the most important thing is that it tastes good!

100% BRETON!

Because we love our Brittany, we’re proud to say so!

With our K-mobile (our well-known red truck in the region) travelling around Brittany and the Pays de la Loire to offer you tastings of our ciders, we promote short supply chains. By offering returnable glass bottles and draught cider, we enable Breton restaurants, crêperies and festivals to offer you high-quality ciders that respect the region and promote the local economy. We firmly believe that it is by respecting the land and its people that we make the best ciders!

Since the early 2000s, our products have been certified by the ‘Produit en Bretagne’ association. This association, which promotes our historic Brittany, works with businesses to promote their expertise and the quality of their products in order to contribute to the economic development of the Brittany region. In addition, Kerisac ciders are guaranteed to offer consistent quality thanks to the rigorous selection of fruits with the Brittany Protected Geographical Indication. Our membership in Breizh 5/5 symbolises our commitment to the region and strongly demonstrates that Guenrouët produces Breton cider!
