Vinification for Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc AOC Cru Bourgeois
Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc AOC Cru Bourgeois is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varieties. In the plain of Arcins, over an area of 5 hectares, the vines of this red wine from Château Arnauld grow on deep gravelly soils. Thanks to the proximity of the mouth of the Gironde, the climate is particularly mild.
After selective manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed then macerate at a controlled temperature and ferment in stainless steel tanks. The maceration period can last up to 4 weeks after the end of fermentation. It is followed by malolactic fermentation and aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
