Château Ferreyres

Florian Bouchon’s vineyard is rooted in the sunny slopes of Peyrouton Lieu-dit. The ancestral vines combine with a rare Flint soil. Here, varieties of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc are growing under perfect sunny exposure. This discovery will give birth, in 2015, to the project of Florian Bouchon : To establish here a dynamic exploitation, to enhance this unique terroir through a production of high end wines .Little by little the vineyard has grown. Today, Florian Bouchon and his teams operate 31 hectares of plots.

The Château Ferreyres vineyard is situated on a unique terroir on splendid sunny hillsides. The proliferation of Silex in the sandy-clay soils bestows powerful red berry notes on the wine, as well as a unique balance, which allows these wines to be appreciated from their early years onwards, but also to be conserved and savoured at a later date.

Red wines are produced on 25 ha of land, predominantly composed of Merlot, but also of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our grapes varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon Blanc are dedicated to the elaboration of Ferryres’ white cuvée.
