Château Tayac

Château Tayac, belonging to the same family for 4 generations, is located in the heart of the Médoc and its 37 hectares are perfectly suited to the sun.

The methods used by Château Tayac are cousinié methods, stripping and green harvesting which allow the wine to have the best possible structure and taste. In addition, these methods also make it possible to control the yield and optimize the desired quality. The grape varieties used are: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petit-Verdot, 20% Merlot.

The château vinifies its wine in vats with coated cement and ages it for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels, 35% of which are new.
