Royet

Almost four generations have come and gone and have contributed to what Royet is today. After all these years of work in the vineyard and in the cellar, Royet’s wines are recognized in various competitions and cited in specialized magazines.

The estate is located in the heart of the Côtes du Couchois appellation.The vines extend over steep hillsides at the foot of Château de Couches. For the sake of quality, by combining tradition and progress, Royet uses knowledge develops wines that express our terroirs and respect their characters.

The 13 hectare estate cultivates the four Burgundian grape varieties: Aligoté, Chardonnay, Gamay and Pinot Noir on three different terroirs. The production breaks down as follows: 32% white wines 32% red wines 4% rosé wines and 32% sparkling wines.

Vincent settled in December 2020 & took over the family business with his father, Jean-Claude.Together they manage the 13 hectares of vines and a grape selection activity. grape selections. They produce Burgundy wines, notably in Côtes du Couchois & are actively involved in the development of this young appellation.

Winegrowers for 4 generations, the Royets are true craftsmen. Their know-how is expressed through the mastery of vinification in oak barrels and the elaboration of Crémant de Bourgogne Burgundy according to the traditional method.

Their wines make up a diversified and accessible range, from from the village appellation to the 1er crus, which reflects their taste for work well done…
