Provence

The vineyards of Provence extend from the south of Avignon to Nice over nearly 200km, over most of Provence. This vineyard is marked by a very great heterogeneity of both pedo-geological and climatic situation with obviously a dominance of the strict Mediterranean climate but also of colder zones where the influence of the wind is decisive.  The vineyard of Provence is made up of 6 controlled designations of origin: Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence, Coteaux des baux de Provence, Coteaux-varois en Provence, Pierrevert, Bandol, Bellet, Cassis, Palette.  The main grape varieties are : grenache, mourvèdre, cinsault, tibouren, and syrah. The Provençal vineyard is historically a specialist producer of rosés that you absolutely have to try. This vineyard is the leading producer of rosé in France and provides 5% of the world’s rosés. Its wines are clear, fruity and generous and will delight your palate.
