The Bruneau-Dupuy estate has a long family history. Today, Sylvain Bruneau and his wife Angélique manage the vineyard. They only produce Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, 100% Cabernet Franc. The soil is for 2/3 on the sand and gravel and for 1/3 on the clay-limestone slopes. It should be noted that the estate has been in organic conversion since the 2013 vintage. In fact, it has been since 2006 that the course has been taken and that he has started to work all his soils. For him, tillage is a bit like woodworking: there is a noble side. That’s why the word “terroir” takes on its full meaning!
