Robert and Cathy Pouderoux produce delicious Maury and Muscat de Rivesaltes, dessert wines of exceptional quality, from this small family run winery. Maury is an AOP for fortified vin doux naturel wines made in the Roussillon wine growing region in the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is created by adding local spirit to the red wine mid-fermentation leaving the wine with natural residual sugars (the same process used in making Port).
