The Ollet-Fourreau family has been operating various wine properties in Bordeaux for five generations, and more precisely, since the 1930s on the right bank of the Garonne in the Lalande de Pomerol and Pomerol appellations.
Over time, the operation has acquired new technologies: sorting tables, thermoregulation, new barrels, etc., thus making it possible to meet the various qualitative requirements on an administrative, commercial and personal level.
For many years now, the two flagship brands have been Château Haut-Surget en Lalande de Pomerol and Château Grand Moulinet en Pomerol. Without forgetting Château Lafleur Vauzelle, twin brother of Château Haut-Surget, distributed only in mass distribution.
In 1998, Château Fleur Saint Espérit, Bordeaux appellation, extended the range, thus offering customers a wine of excellent value for money. Today, a new appellation among the most prestigious in Bordeaux, namely Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, has completed our range of Grands Vins with the Château du Grand Cardinal.
Thanks to the work and dynamism of the OLLET-FOURREAU family, these different appellations are regularly awarded medals.
With an area of 6 ha at the start of the operation’s creation by its founder Paul Ollet, the Ollet-Fourreau family now operates around 40 ha. Nowadays, you can meet 4 generations on the farm: the great-grandfather Maurice Ollet, the grandparents Marie-Claude and Jean-Pierre Fourreau, Patrick Fourreau, their father, and the grandchildren Emma and Tom (in apprenticeship tasting !!!).
