Laurent is turning this 10-hectare domaine into a leader of the appellation. He has expanded his cellar and is now able to move his wine by gravity. These are all classically made wines. The ‘Pontaix’ is from 40-year-old vines and aged in demi-muid. The magnificently sited ‘Clos les Cornirets’ lies in the same granitic line as Hermitage and has a profile to match. The vines are 60 years old and the wine ages 12 months in barriques. There is also a little white Crozes made from 95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne.
